Covema Vernici S.p.A. is committed to making the legno.covemavernici.com website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, with reference to the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549, which refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

### 1. Compliance status

The website is partially compliant with the requirements stated above, due to the non-accessible content listed in section 2.

The assessment is based on automated checks with the axe-core engine, run on all pages of the website at desktop and mobile widths (last run: 6 October 2026). Automated checks cover only some of the criteria: a manual review with keyboard and screen readers has not yet been carried out.

### 2. Non-accessible content

Known limitations:

- some secondary grey text (eyebrows, captions, article categories and reading times, footer items) has a contrast ratio lower than 4.5:1 against the background (WCAG criterion 1.4.3). The colours are part of the visual identity of the Legno line and will not be changed: anyone who needs higher contrast can turn on dark, light or high contrast from the «Accessibility» panel;
- the technical and safety data sheets in PDF are produced by systems external to the website and may not be fully accessible; on request we will provide the information in an alternative format;
- external services reachable from the website (support, retailers, WhatsApp) are managed by third parties and are not covered by this statement.

### 3. Accessibility features of the website

- «Skip to content» link as the first element reachable by keyboard;
- page language declared for screen readers;
- full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator;
- respect for the «reduce motion» system preference;
- forms with labels associated with fields and error messages announced to screen readers;
- «Accessibility» panel (button at the bottom left; it can also be opened from the «Accessibility preferences» link at the bottom of every page and with the keyboard shortcut Alt+A; the button can be hidden or moved), with ready-made profiles (low vision, dyslexia and reading, epilepsy, concentration, older people) and individual adjustments: text size, line spacing, letter spacing, more readable or dyslexia-friendly font, text alignment, highlighting of links, headings, active element and element under the mouse, text magnifier, dark, light or high contrast, black and white, muted or vivid colours, animation blocking, hidden images, muted audio, reading guide and reading mask, large black or white cursor, descriptions of images and buttons on mouse hover, reading mode, reading the page aloud and page structure. Your choices are stored only in your browser.

### 4. Feedback and contacts

If you have difficulty using the website or need content in an accessible format, write to us at [webdesigner@covemagroup.com](mailto:webdesigner@covemagroup.com) stating the page and the problem. We will reply within 30 days.
